About Our Asbestos Remediation Work
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the US Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), and the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) have stringent requirements for asbestos abatement and remediation based on the friability of the ACM building material and the amount of ACM that will be disturbed.
Other requirements are also in place for the area, including a restricted containment area and specialized engineering controls and cleanup. Most projects must be monitored by an independent firm such as UNYSE.
